General Notes

Sands, shales, coal beds (50 to 100 beds, 1inch to 2ft) rhythmic cycles, x-bedding. Plant remains - wood and leaves, glossopteris. Petrified wood sections to 18in diameter. Quartz pebble conglomerate at base. From outcrop area SW of Mt. Glossopteris peak.
