Sample Description	1983 Wright Film018B-024. West side of Shield Nunatak.
General Notes	Shield Nunatak: base of hyaloclastites see lots of slides. With small cinder cone on top of unoxidized glassy lava blocks some poorly formed broken material (AW82261). Lava flows of flow breccia overlie hyaloclastites about 3-8 of them seen in gully on NE side. These cascade down gully on NE side but elsewhere seem conformable. A ?tuff and cinder cone lies on top but was not sampled. Sample from flow AW82262. Sample from top of hyaloclastite sequence (AW82263). Accretionary lapilli present in outcrop at this point. Hyaloclastite sequence not sampled lower down.
